Cebu's Parkmall Hooping Class featured in GMA News.

Parkmall officially offered "Hoola Dance Workout" in its weekly fitness program, as a way to encourage mall-goers to maintain a more active lifestyle. The class officially began last May 21 2014, and we welcomed many new hoopers into the class.  GMA News was even there to film the whole thing.

Parkmall's "Hoola Dance Workout" is scheduled every Wednesdays 6PM-7PM. Admission is free, so be sure to join in on the Hoola madness!

Hula-hooping Made ExtremeI

While I was in Manila, I was fortunate enough to jam with the ladies of Hoopnation Philippines in Orange Studios. A good friend and photographer Derrick Ian Lim of Imagination Photography decided to drop by and some hooping photographs. Little did we know that this group shot he took would appear in Philippine Airline's inflight magazine- Mabuhay. A lovely surprise thanks to fellow hooper- Michelle Callo.

Where The Girls Are

Cebu City's lifestyle magazine- Zee Quarterly puts together a shoot featuring the finalists of the prestigious local pageant- Miss Cebu. We were more than happy to lend out a few colorful hula-hoops to sit in the backdrop.

Come Out And Play

The very first appearance of Hoopaholic Cebu in the press. Hoopaholic Cebu was still brand new, and hooping was still practically unheard of in the Philippines.
.Rica Hernandez-Gomez and Bernadette Yu hooping it up in 2010. They are both currently instructors at Citigym, teaching yoga and hooping respectively.
